OUR CURRENT YOUTH TEAMS (2025/26 Season)

U5's / U6's Training Group

This group is all about having lots of fun whilst gaining first experiences of being part of organized football in a safe, friendly and encouraging environment.

Children can start joining in with our group as soon from reception year for U5s and year 1 for U6s.  The new intake for these age groups starts in September with players welcome to join anytime during the season as long as we have space available. To reserve your child’s place please contact us.

U7 Raptors

Formed from those players from our training who are now old enough to take part in League matches or U7’s are looking forward to September when they can test their skill out against opposition from other clubs.

U10 United

Weekley Rovers U9 United team started as a small group of players training together at at the end of last season which has since expanded into a full team playing in the Weetabix League.

U11 Wizards

Many of our current group of boys & girls have been with us since joining our U5/U6’s training group.  With three seasons under their belt the team is now in its final season of mini-soccer in the Weetabix League.

This is a team full of energy who love our football based games that help to introduce them to and develop core skills they will build on in the season ahead and beyond.

U12 Collectivo

Since Collectivo team joined Weekley Rovers FC in 2022 they’ve gone from strength to strength including the welcoming of additional new players and coaching staff.

The team train on Friday’s 6:30pm-7:30pm at KBA in the summer and on the Astro at Burton Latimer in autumn/winter.

U12 Foxes

The Foxes have developed fabulously over their time in mini-soccer learning building the skills needed for our transition into Youth football. More importantly though, if the feedback received and the smiles on the players faces is anything to go by, then they are having a great time!

We have a full match squad plus some additional players who are training with us in readiness to join the match squad once a place becomes available and whom are just as much a part of our team.

U12 Cyclones

With the success of our other U12 teams, their players choosing to re-register for another season, and demand in the age group so high we’ve added a new fourth(!) WRFC U12 which we’ve named the Cyclones.

Composed of some of last seasons training only players who’ve been waiting for a match squad place to become available, plus some new to the club players the squad is shaping up nicely and looking forward to their first season.

U12 Thunder

Since joining Weekley Rovers FC in 2021, the Under 11 Thunder team is developing nicely and showing lots of promise .  As a club we look forward to following and supporting this team’s continued development and success in the years ahead.
